Winder House, Sedbergh

Five-Year Diary: I slept really well last night, even though it was boiling in the dorm. I had a dream. I can sort of remember that it felt important, but I can’t remember what actually happened in it now. I wish I’d written it down. Even just one line would’ve done. That’s all you need to remember a dream properly. Now it’s gone, which is annoying. I’ve learnt to capture them.
Assembly, Powell Hall.
Loads of people were off again. The flu’s still going round. It’s quite good because it makes the hall look emptier, but also a bit strange.
English: We had the Tolpuddle test. I think I did OK. Not brilliant, but not awful either.
Then I got properly bished in class because I answered a question and got it wrong. I thought I knew it as well. I hate when that happens. Everyone looks round.
French: oage 11 in the folder. Just more writing and stuff.
Maths: parallel translations. Sliding shapes about on squared paper. It’s not too bad when you understand it, but if you miss one step you’re completely lost.
At break I had five biscuits and three Tunes. Probably too many, but I was hungry.
Geography: Test. I Got 14 out of 20. That’s decent, I suppose. Could’ve been worse.
Lunch.
Run
After school I went out to run part of the 10 Mile to the Muddy Slide with MW. It started off fine, but then we got lost trying to get from there to Danny Bridge. We went the wrong way and had to double back. I didn’t get back to our House till 4:30 and I was absolutely shattered. I soaked in a bath. There were six baths, placed together in two rows of three in the shower and bog block.
Afterwards I went into the library and fell asleep. I don’t even remember lying down properly. I just woke up later feeling groggy and confused.
I still had to do two preps, and Physics though. Didn’t feel like it at all. My legs ache.
