Five -Year Diary: My sister rings from Mrs Qs—she’s going up the coast to Bamburgh.
Thea and Charlotte turn up for breakfast. I’m cleaning out my room and putting up two of my brother’s posters—War of the Worlds and an F1 racing car, I imagine.
Go to the nursery. I bought eight shrubs and manure. I assume Mum took me and paid for everything.
Sort out lunch.
Plant shrubs.
Hot—lots of bees about. Kill one by mistake.
Cut the lawn with the two-stroke lawn mower.
Ring Katie to make plans—nothing on.
T.V.: Grimm’s Fairy Tales — Headleigh Haunting. Picks girl.
The female hamster lets off a smell. Charlie Brown (other hamster) is excited.
