Five -Year Diary: My sister rings from Mrs Qs—she’s going up the coast to Bamburgh.
Thea and Charlotte turn up for breakfast. I’m cleaning out my room and putting up two of my brother’s posters—War of the Worlds and a racing car, I imagine.
Go to the nursery. I buy eight shrubs and manure. I assume mum took me and paid for everything .
Sort out lunch.
Plant shrubs.
Hot—lots of bees about. Kill one by mistake.
Cut lawn with the two-stroke lawn mower.
Ring Katie to make plans—nothing on.
T.V.: Grimm’s Fairy Tales — Headleigh Haunting. Picks girl.
The female hamster lets off a smell. Charlie Brown (other hamster) excited.
