Diary: I cycled to Gosforth Swimming Baths to train. I imagine 40-60 lengths front crawl and some sprints to finish.
I came home and played with Joker, our rabbit. Watched TV.
Lunch. Mum will have prepared something: shepherds pie or some such. Joan the cleaner will have been there all morning.
I went into town for school gym shoes and shin guards (from Isaac Waltons). Mum hospital. Went to Thornes in the Haymarket bought drawing paper, hole punch and staples. Cartoon cinema at the top of Northumberland Street now a film club.
