Five Year Diary:
English : Read Silas Marner. Test on Grammar.
French: Petit Nicola Chapter 10 – haircut. Mum says cheveux (pl). Too long. Underline so I remember. He doesn’t want to go. Shop full of solemn men + newspapers. Feels inquiet. Not nerveux. Inquiet sounds safer. “How do you want it?” Idiotic question. Say short = scalped. Say not too short = ignored.
On va faire ça bien = disaster incoming. Hair everywhere. Mum: Très bien.
School is worse. Before sitting down: “What happened to you?” Adults: “It’s nothing.” They don’t have double Maths with exposed ears. Slightly funny. Still a catastrophe. Better than verbs.
Maths: hand in prep: work on volume.
Break. Revise test.
German: Test 11/15
Latin: Imposition (impot) for doing the wrong prep. Very low marks.
Lunch.
I intended to do Ten Mile Run. Write out most of the Impot: quick change and set off on my run at 2:30.
Very hard, go the wrong way at Cautley Spout. After Danny, not sure of the way. Dither about.
My brother nearly catches after New Bridge.
My watch says 1:37. Nick says 1:33.
Go to Grubber.
Had Latin Prep.
