Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.

It’s hard to pin down one thing, because what my wife has done for me isn’t a single moment—it’s 36 years of being there.

She’s put up with a lot from me at times—my failings, moods, and blind spots—and met them with patience, understanding, and a kind of steady tolerance that I don’t take for granted. She has this ability to accommodate who I am, while still quietly encouraging me to be better.

She’s always been in my corner. When I’ve doubted myself or gone off in new directions, she’s been the one offering support and encouragement—never making a fuss, just being solid and dependable.

I suppose the simplest way to say it is: she has stood by me, properly stood by me. And that’s made all the difference.
