What the First World War needs is an epic three or five-part Movie Series on the scale of Titanic. Whatever the fiction, if it is a good story, this is how you generate the interest. The problem of course who needing an enemy; hundreds years on we can’t ‘bash the Bosche’. In this respect Lord of the Rings is a better idea of the thoughts, feelings and battles of the period.
